One morning next month I will wake up, collect a large box of knitting and props, and head off to do the photo shoot for KCC2. This is both exciting (because holy wow is seeing all the pictures fun) and terrifying (because it's the point in the process where the greatest number of things have to go right at the same time in order for the day to go well). Think Clouds
Ok all, the photo shoot for the mini book is tomorrow. I actually sewed the buttons on today (rather than waiting till tomorrow morning). All I have left to do now is lint roller everything one more time and finalize the shot list. What I'd like all of you to do is wish us up some clouds. It's supposed to be warm and sunny. Wrap Up
1) Holy hell that was fun -- watching professionals work is really inspiring. Also a tiny bit envy-making. But mostly inspiring. I feel so good about having hired a real live grown up to come take the pictures for this. 2) Man oh man was that tiring -- try to schedule your colds and your photo shoots for different days. All My Bags Are Packed, I’m Ready To Go
I am (finally) all packed and ready for the photo shoot tomorrow. That's Box 1. It contains model releases, shot lists, a wee knitting repair kit in case something goes wrong, and lint roller. Folks, have you looked at a calendar lately? I'm less than two weeks away from the book's photoshoot. Do you have any idea how cool that is? Do you have any idea how nerve wracking that is? Some things in this world are simply true. It doesn't matter if I remember them or not. It doesn't matter if I like them or not. The Stars Aligned
Several things have happened at once. I'm home during daylight (not that rare). The Boy is home during daylight (much more rare). The weather is pleasant (quite unusual). I have finished knitwear to photograph (nearly unheard of). The combination means that there is a very good chance that all three of the little fluffy mitts shown a week or so ago will be ready to show off in their final project photos in the next day or two.
