Remember these?
I have a bin on my office bookshelf of Things To Be Photographed. It’s where stuff I’m done knitting but can’t yet wear because I haven’t taken pics of it yet hangs out while I get my act together. And sometimes…sometimes things hang out in there way too long.
A little blog sleuthing (because what is the point of having a blog if you can’t use it to go back and figure out when you did what) shows me I finished these in November…of 2016. I’ve even got the pattern written and tested and I could release it whenever I get the photos. But for some reason, it’s never managed to climb to the top of the pile and make it out for photos. And I think I finally figured out why.
See that fairly sizable whack of leftover yarn? That’s too much to waste. In fact, I think there’s enough left in there to make a hat with. I’m not 100% sure. I’ll have to do a little bit of math to check. But I’m pretty sure it will work. Clearly I’ve been waiting because I didn’t want to let all that yarn go to waste…that’s my story and I’m sticking to it!
