These dozen patterns are my very favorites. They’ll likely stick around for a while (at least until something new comes along and claims one of their spots)!

These patterns share a common theme or technique (in this case, turned hems) and will be available for just a few months. Rampant & Notable Nonsense patreon folks get these patterns free!

Yeah but how?

So the idea of elbow patches on the (previously mended, once chopped, heavily worn) sweater we discussed in the last post seems to be quite well received, but some folks had some more specific questions [...]

Sweater Update

So back in the halcyon days of October 2024, when the phrase "for profit cage match on the white house lawn" had not yet been uttered by serious journalists, I took scissors to a sweater [...]

I owe you a tour of Linearity, the new slippers that just came out (what can I say, the tool cards blew up and I got distracted!) You can, as always, find them on both [...]

Looking for an earlier pattern?

I have a lot of patterns! But I also tend to get overwhelmed if I have to deal with them all at once. So I’ve picked 12 of my favorites (the Core Collection) that will usually be available. And every few months, I decide on a theme or a technique and make a handful of related patterns (the Rotating Collection) available for a little while (then they go away again). The other patterns are retired and are not generally available. However, because I know some folks will want them, I make many the retired patterns available for a few weeks every November. If you want me to tell you when they’re back, subscribe to the mailing list or patreon, and I’ll be sure to let you know!
