Dollop is out, it’s 10% off with the code CUPCAKE, and I’m so ridiculously smitten I just don’t even know what to say.
I realize that maybe this shouldn’t be this entertaining. Maybe I should be doing something more suitable with my time in this world. But I have yet to show one of these to someone and have them not make the oh-my-god-that’s-adorable face. And you know what? Bringing that level of delight to someone’s day is kind of awesome.
And, I mean you can sort of make an argument for them having some practical purpose. Sort of. If you try really hard. You can turn them into pin cushions (or just little containers for keeping your secret treasures in…maybe if you give your stitch markers a home this cute they won’t get lost).
You can fill them with candy and use them as the cutest freaking party favors/place card holders in the history of humankind. (Please, someone do this for easter brunch…or mother’s day…or a baby shower…or a bridal shower…or a birthday party…or even just for breakfast one day because you’re that sort of awesome and then send me pictures. I will love you for all time.)
You can fill the bottom with something heavy and call it a paper weight.
Or you can just say you don’t care, they’re adorable, they don’t need to be useful. Their function can just be to make you smile every single time you see them. Because it’s good to surround yourself with things that make you happy!
The pattern is Dollop, it’s out on ravelry today, and it’s 10% off for the first few days with the code CUPCAKE.
