Bonus points to everyone who suggested doing turned hems with judy’s magic cast on (rather than with a provisional cast on you have to unzip and pick up). It is, indeed, significantly less fiddly. And while I don’t necessarily mind fiddly, I do want it to be for a good reason. If I can get the same effect with something more streamlined, that’s generally gonna be the way to go!
