Me, to myself: You know, if you knit some mitts, that means you’ll get to come up with a pretty thumb gusset for them. You know you like playing with pretty thumb gussets. They’re almost as much fun as fancy hat crowns, and it’s easier to see your hands than the top of your own head.

Me, again to myself, because I mean really who else would I be having this conversation with: You make a very convincing argument. Hand me my needles.
