Every month I do a post saying ‘abortions are good’ & send a donation to Aid Access. I don’t do this because I think my donations are enough to do actually fix anything.

I know they’re not.

I do it because I want as many people as possible to know that abortion pills are safe and effective. That you can get them online, by mail, everywhere in the US (even in places where abortion is banned). That you can get them right now, even if you’re not currently pregnant (they keep for several years). And that you can get them, even if you can’t afford them.

And it turns out, there are rather a lot of folks following me here & on instagram. Like a surprising number! So if I want as many people as possible to have that information, then the best thing I can do is mention it here.

Every month.

Because you need to know. Everyone needs to know. Things are scary out there and getting worse. But there are things you can do (like leaning about abortion pills and telling others about them) that will help.

So we do this. Every month. And we will keep doing it. Every month. Not because it fixes anything. But because it helps just a tiny bit. And that’s worth doing.
