Peached
Published On: October 2, 2024

Completely coincidentally and apropos of absolutely nothing at all…Peached is back.

I first made these in the fall of 2019 when the (cough, first, cough) impeachment of everyone’s least favorite felon was underway, and I felt the need for something soft that I could squeeze. Or throw against a wall. Or stab full of pins.

Funny how that feeling persists.

But here’s the thing. We’re knitters. We know that tiny actions, taken over and over again, add up. So if you’re also feeling a bit ragey right now, I encourage you to find one tiny action you can take (like donating to your local abortion fund or asking the people in your life if they would like help registering to vote or getting to the polls, or spending an hour looking into the tiny local elections that matter more than you think and that are often decided by just a handful of votes).

Because if we all do a couple of tiny things, it will add up. We know that. We’re knitters. We know how tiny things turn into magic if you do them often enough.

And yes, I should say something about the pattern. Really I should. But I’m going to leave it at ‘the peaches are adorable, the apple is totally in there too, and you can have a whole bowl full of them in a couple of days.’ Because I suspect you already know all the rest!

To get the pattern:

Go to the pattern’s ravelry page or the pattern’s payhip page and use the code VOTE for 15% off. That code will work through the end of the day, Sunday, October 5.
