Why do I care about which judge wins an election in a state I’ve never even set foot in? Because judges are the ones holding the line against the worst excesses of the current administration, and this election will decide who holds the majority on the Wisconsin Supreme Court. ⁠

And that really matters right now. Matters so much that the muskmelon has spent more than $20 million supporting the other candidate. And this is a chance to show him that he can’t just buy himself a judgeship. ⁠

Making sure we have judges who will uphold democracy is how we protect the rights we still have and start to claw back the ones we’ve lost. And this is a chance to do that. ⁠

And as always, abortion pills are safe, effective, and available everywhere. (We’re not using the word in the posts on instagram because if we do, the algorithm hides it, so we use coded language because we have to for people to see the information. But here, where I’m in charge, we will damn well use the word because abortion is not a dirty word.) The good folks at Aid Access will get you what you need, no matter where you live. Because we’re fully into arresting medical providers for providing care, arresting women for having miscarriages, and actively working to limit access to birth control territory. ⁠

And it’s going to get worse. ⁠

And the best way to protect yourself and your community is to have a well stocked medicine cabinet. ⁠
