Oh, oh I found the right wire and the right way to put it in the bacon. Did I expect to say this sentence? No. Do I stand by it? Oh yes!

I mean really, look at that. Same yarn, same needles, same stitches, same knitter. Just one has wire run around it and the other doesn’t. And yes, I had tried it with a lighter (softer) wire before, but it didn’t have quite the heft I wanted. But this…well this is just about perfect!

I’m going to play with an even heavier wire to make it into a bracelet (this almost does it, but it’s not quite stiff enough). Am I, personally, likely to wear a bacon bracelet? Alas no, I am not yet quite that cool. But I know quite a few of you are ever so much cooler than I, so I want to have an option for those of you who wish to do exactly that.
