Compromise
Published On: July 9, 2025

I think I found a reasonable compromise between my baser tendencies and the incessant demands of capitalism. Meaning I spent Monday dutifully moving projects closer to done (the problem is many projects have a timeline that lasts for months, so I literally can’t actually finish it all the way through in a day or a week or even a month, all I can do is do the next step, but that never actually feels like finishing anything), then shoved the stuff to start this in my purse and cast on while I was out doing things yesterday. Because it’s not like I was going to be doing work while I was running errands, but you can actually sometimes get a couple of rounds and knitting project while you’re out running errands.

Somebody is going to ask if I don’t say so, the paper is called Noteworthy (Rampant Nonsense folks have it here, other folks can buy it here), the apple is called Peached (admittedly somewhat confusingly, but you’ll understand why if you go look), and the pouches were only available in the Noteworthy kits so there is not currently a way for you to get those (though there is another pouch that is going to be in the bacon kit which is going to be happening very soon, so keep an eye out if you’re wishing you’d gotten that last time).

Yay for adult responsibilities. Or something like that…
