Less…anatomical
Right, so, there’s a stage in these where they look like a nipple. They just do. But we can fix it. Or at least minimize it (I suspect the human brain just has a part whose whole job is to go ‘ooooooh, boob, tee-hee’ as often as possible, so it is difficult to totally eliminate the issue).

The trick on these is to make a little drawstring at the junction between the color change between the white and the yolk and then tuck something flat and round (coin, milk carton lid, little wooden disk, look around, you’ll find something) and draw it tight.

After a little bit of wiggling and finagling, you get something that sits in a much more yolk like fashion.

Because really, if you want to knit a nipple intentionally, that’s fantastic. But you probably don’t want to make one by accident. And this is how we avoid that!
Admin/Navigation:
- I’m posting a series of videos to go along with our upcoming egg pattern. Anyone with any level of membership (yes even the free one) has access to watch all the videos!
- The pattern will be out in a few weeks. Rampant Nonsense folks always get all the new patterns as they come out, and it will be eventually be available to other folks in some format or another.
- You don’t need to watch the videos if you don’t like to learn that way! You an always use the patterns by themselves, you don’t need to watch this to use the pattern. This is just for folks who like to listen to someone talk them through it or want to see it rather than read about it!
