Takeout boxes…
Published On: September 26, 2025

So, this is what I’ve been up to for the last little while!

That’s stacks and stacks and stacks (and stacks) of bacon kits. I’m meeting up with Karen from Seven Sisters Arts tomorrow (Saturday, September 27) to pick up yarn at the Cashmere Goat yarn store in Camden Maine (which just so happens to be their five year anniversary party…which you can totally come to…just in case that’s the sort of thing you might be in to).

Which means boxes should start going in the mail next week!

Insert practical information sidebar here to answer the questions someone just had go flitting through their head:

  • If you got a kit, you’ll get an email with tracking info when the kit goes in the mail.
  • If you didn’t order a kit and now wish you had, I’ll have a handful of extras. Once I know how many, I’ll post about them here first, then more generally elsewhere if there are still any left after you folks have had a shot at them.
  • There will be a code in the box to download the pattern (and I’ll zap it to everyone as well, but not till after the boxes are in the mail).
  • The pattern will also be available without the kit, probably week after next. I’ll also post about that when it goes up.

Did I get them all? I’m uuuuuusually pretty good at knowing the questions by this point, but if I missed something, do let me know!

But in the meantime, I’m going to enjoy a blessedly cardboard free afternoon wherein I put absolutely nothing in any boxes and touch absolutely no tape or tissue paper. Because I earned it!

And seriously, come to the yarn store tomorrow, it’ll be fun! I’m going to be there first thing in the morning (not for long, mostly just to pick up yarn), so totally come say hi!
