Don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten about knitting! These three hats are all set to come out early next year (am I in an embroidery phase, yes, yes I apparently am). And then there’s something else that’s somewhere between a hat and a magic trick that’s been quietly percolating in the back of my mind for a while now that I can’t wait to start sharing with you just as soon as I feel brave enough to tackle it in public. Oh and I might accidentally have ordered, um, a skein or two of yarn over the weekend that might be destined to turn into…something grand. Oh and there’s a penguin sitting over there on my shelf giving me dirty looks for not having managed to get her out this year (look, it’s been a busy year).

All of which is a long way of saying don’t fret, there’s still plenty of knitting coming up. The paper stars are a seasonal fixation for me (the sunset starts moving later at my house on December 16th, if I can make it till then, the light starts coming back), and we’ll be back to our woolly ways soon!
