I sent this to everyone on Patreon yesterday (and I’m leaving it up at least through the weekend for anyone else who wants it)!

They are absurd little delights that do absolutely nothing other than make me (and hopefully some of you!) a tiny bit happier as we watch the world burn (and call our senators and show up at our local protests and get real loud at our school board meetings and get to know our local librarians and do whatever else we can to get involved).

I’ve been mostly making them into hearts (which you can either watch me do here or find instructions for in the pattern). But some of them told me they’d prefer to be little curlicues or maybe even bracelets/necklaces, and that’s awesome too.

If you want to make your own, you’ll need a few dozen yards of scrap yarn, a pipe cleaner, and the Twirls pattern. I’m guessing you’ve got that first one covered. I have complete faith in your ability to procure the second. And the third is right here. It’s free at least through the weekend (I’ll shift it over to be for sale some time next week, no I’m not sure when because Events Keep Occurring and I’m just absolutely not committing myself to Anything At All). But go grab it now if you’re so inclined and do what you can to spread a little joy.

Then go call your representatives and tell them to block absolutely everything this bullshit administration is doing until we get that unelected billionaire psychopath the fuck out of our business (no really, I’ve started calling both of my senators and my congressperson every morning while I poop…it is an intensely satisfying bit of multi tasking and I highly highly highly recommend it!).
