Now look, if you’ve been here for a while, you know I am a sucker for matching sets.  My fashion sense is extremely limited (and two years of hanging out at home in yoga pants and house sweaters have not done me any favors), but I remain firm in my conviction that if your winter accessories are adorable and more or less match, folks are more likely to overlook any sartorial eccentricities (this goes double if are sporting the brightest color winter coat you can find, but it seems to work pretty well in just regular clothes too).

Actually I’m pretty sure we should all just wear what makes us happy (and let others do the same) and we’d all be better off.  And really, that hat and these mitts make me awfully happy.  I mean have you seen that thumb gusset? I’m pretty sure that thumb gusset will make most anyone happy!
