New box of pencils
I firmly believe embroidering on your knitting is the closest thing to coloring you can do with fabric. And sometimes? Sometimes a package comes in the mail and it feels exactly like a fresh box of colored pencils.
Yarn is Little Skein Anne and everything she does is magic. This has got to win some sort of prize for shortest time from yarn arrival to cast on. I have A Very Good Plan (and you know I’m never happier than when implementing A Very Good Plan).
