Ok, that’s more what I had in mind! I needed the floof to be darker so that the wavy lines (which you can only just barely begin to see there but which will, in time, become more apparent as I, you know, make more stitches) would be more pronounced.

And yes, I fully admit we’re in that stage where I go ‘oooh, yes, this will work out well’ but where the knitting itself does not actually look like much yet. So you can be forgiven for thinking ‘um, huh, ok sure’ and regarding me with the suspicion usually reserved for someone attempting to hand you religious tracts on the sidewalk.

But don’t worry, something clever is underway. And I suspect we’ll have fun with it!
