Constellate
Published On: September 12, 2023

Constellate is out on both ravelry and payhip! But it really shouldn’t be this pretty. It just shouldn’t. Nothing this easy should look so impressive. Yet somehow, it does, and I find myself completely unwilling to argue with anything so delightful.

Instead, I find myself inclined to play with it. So far that’s meant experimenting with a two color version (which I love even more than the single color version, a feat I didn’t think possible). Oh and being hopelessly entranced by the wrong side of the fabric (the wrong side on the two color version still leaves me wondering how I did that, which is always a good sign). Um, and also knitting matching mitts (those will be out soon) and making a special bonus variation on the hat for patrons (more about that later this month). Look, these things just happen. I should be used to it by now.

If you want to play too, you can use the code STARRY to take 15% off on either ravelry or payhip (though as always, if you get email from me, check your inbox first, there’s something else there for you). That will work through the end of the day on Friday, September 15. Or, if you want to get all the new patterns as they come out (like the spiffy matching mitts you can catch a glimpse of in the pictures below), wander over and join the patreon.

Oh and just so you know, Seven Sisters Arts has dyed up a big batch of her gorgeous gradient color wheels for us. That’s what I used on both these hats, and I swear they’re magic. She doesn’t do these often, so if you’re as hopelessly taken with them as I am, go grab them while you can. Here’s hoping your day is full of things that look impressive but feel easy!
