This is absolutely providing the requisite amount of instant gratification. It’s a hat. A hat for my giant head. And it’s only 60 stitches around, for the yarn is just that delightfully thick and smushy.

It’s Martin’s Lab Big Singles in Glitter, and it’s delightful. And yes, I will need two skeins of it to get through the whole hat (it’s like 77 yards per 100 grams). But it is also only going to take me like two days to knit, so that seems more than fair.
