So from now through December, I’m knitting ornaments from my patterns in my friend Rachel’s yarn.

Because the world is on fire and all I want to do is hibernate and completely ignore capitalism and commerce and the outside world and curl up inside with hot chocolate and yarn and blankets and kittens. But that’s hard to do because of the aforementioned capitalism and commerce and things being on fire. And this is about as close as I can get to hibernating and still consider myself sufficiently industrious to deserve rest (and oh, oh if that’s not a sentence that needs to be unpacked I don’t know what is).

If any of y’all want to do the same, I’ll have the kits with this yarn and the scissors and the gauge cards and the patterns available through the end of the week. That gives me time to get them all in the mail early next week and in your hands by the end of the month.

If you want to play with just the patterns because you have quite enough yarn already thank you, Rampant Nonsense folks will get all the patterns I play with for this year’s tree included in their membership. And anyone who is hanging out with me on patreon at all can have the acorn pattern to serve as a bit of distraction as needed.
