It’s been a hell of a year, and I’m proud of you for making it through.

You can help take care of yourself and the people you care about in 2026 by making sure you have abortion pills on hand. You can get them from Aid Access.  They’re safe and effective. You can get them no matter where you are (even in states with bans, plus Aid Access is a Dutch organization and they seem to absolutely delight in telling american law enforcement to get bent). You can get them even if you’re not currently pregnant (and I think you should). And you can get them for free if you need them and can’t afford them.

I invite you all to join me in wishing the fascist fucks currently running the country an absolutely rotten new year.

They are terrible people bent on stripping bodily autonomy away from anyone they don’t like (whether that’s people in need of abortions, people in need of birth control, people in need of gender affirming care, people who came to this country to make a better life, people in other countries suffering because of this administration’s cruelty and stupidity, or just people who tell these clowns to get fucked). Their actions have hurt you and the people you love (and if you don’t realize that yet it’s either because you’re too privileged and protected to realize what’s been done to you, or because no one in your life trusts you enough to tell you about what’s really happening with them, and either way you should probably think about that real damn hard).

May they lose every election. May they be shunned by their friends and colleagues and held in contempt by their families. May they wake up tomorrow, realize the error of their ways, and spend the rest of their short lives atoning for the harm they’ve done.

And until then, we’ll be over here, doing what we can to support each other however we can. Hang in there, we need you. You’ve got this.
