Ahem. I have it on good authority that neeeeeext month’s mailing is going to be, um, related to this. For this has captured my very soul and is occupying far too many of my waking hours. And it’s spawning…variations…which is always a portent of doom.

I might (might you understand, nothing is cast in stone, you are hearing this early when things absolutely for sure will change between now and whenever this officially gets announced, literally anyone who comes back and goes ‘but you saiiiiiiiiiid you’d do it thaaaaaat way, how dare things chaaaaaaaange’ will be pointed towards this exact parenthetical aside while I quietly lower one eyebrow in faint disapproval) be working with my printer on both a printed version of this (think note card) and a pre-punched version (so you can stitch your own).

The plan as it stands now is prooooooobably (again, I emphasize, very very strongly, that things will change, none of this is final) I will write up instructions for how to do it yourself at home should you be so inclined. Because I mean I did it at home (with fancy paper and a pencil and a ruler and a paper cutter and a corner punch and a sewing machine and a T-pin and an awl and an awful lot of swearing and significantly fewer bandaids than you might expect, though certainly not zero bandaids). And you can absolutely do the same if that sounds like your jam (check your tetanus shot first)!

And then I’ll get some diverting little amusements made for folks who would rather skip all the business with the stabbing and the blades and the bandaids and get things in the mail so that they can jump right in to the stitching or the scribbling parts.

Alas, I have to lock numbers in with the printer here in the next week or so. So I’ll be using the signup numbers for this month’s mail club as a general guide for how much of this stuff to get printed (I’ll always get enough for current folks plus some extras for new folks, it’s just trying to figure out how many new folks to plan for is legit tricky for things with long lead times). That math also has a component that can only be called vibes based, so if you’re super excited for this and know you want them in the mail, be loud in the comments over here (especially if you’re not currently getting stuff in the mail) so I can take that into account when I order (you can see a video of them in action there too if you’re so inclined)!

(Cough, and then, depending on whether my personal fixation holds and on whether or not said fixation spreads to you all, I miiiiiight possibly continue to play with embroidery and cards because oh oh oh my god these are coming out so cute and are so damn much fun to do. Just look at the things in the background! Cough, oops, these things are bound to happen sometimes.)
