TL;DR version right up top:

• Signups are open now for this month’s mailing! If you want these (murderously sharp, delightfully stabby) little scissors to show up in your mailbox, join the Notable Nonsense tier. (Look for the ‘Join to unlock’ button at the bottom of this post.)
• The Notable Nonsense tier is the only way to get them. I don’t have them available anywhere else (and don’t plan to because the infrastructure needed to have little things like this generally available all the time is not feasible for me, but I can do a whole bunch of them all at once, which is what the mail club is for!).
• Signups are open for one week or until all the spots are filled, whichever comes first. I’ve got packages reserved for all of last month’s members plus a few dozen more for new folks, but I’m keeping this small to start so I don’t get overwhelmed.
• Everything goes in the mail the second week in March. They’re already all packed up and ready to go, and they should start landing in mailboxes in mid March!

Longer version for folks who want the details:

These are, without a doubt, my very favorite project bag scissors. They’re tiny (they just barely fit on a credit card, and the blades are just about exactly 1″, which means they meet current standards to go in your carry on). They’re comfy (lightweight, big finger holes, work equally well in either hand). And they are sharper than they have any right to be (both pointy at the tip and sharp along the edges…they might possibly have tasted blood a couple of times along the way). Plus they make the good snick snick sound when you snip them, and damn it that is key to my appreciation of a pair of scissors!

There’s no truly satisfying way to show you scissors without handing them to you, but maybe watching me play with them will help a bit, so you can watch that video on the patreon version of this post.

Scissors (and stickers, because of course) will be going out to Notable Nonsense folks (domestic and international) the second week in March. Anyone who is a current member of that tier on March 8 (when I pull the list of addresses for active members) will get them sent their way! The only way we can do that is by trusting the post office to deliver old fashioned letter mail (the kind with a stamp…not a tracking number), but so far that’s worked out astonishingly well (and of course, if something does go awry, you can always let me know and we can fix it).

I let folks on Patreon know the tier is open first (I did that on Saturday). But we’ve still got enough left that I can share it here now more publicly. Then shortly before they close I’ll do a second post (over there) to remind folks (and do the Community Supported Memberships for this month, more info about those over here). I’ll keep it open as long as I can, but I’ve already got these all packed and ready to go, so when they’re claimed they’re claimed.
