Ok so of course I took the perfectly tidy photos first. But real life is…not tidy. Real life has spills and stains and fits of pique and possibly even a broken pencil and some wadded up pieces of paper. So I figured I’d go ahead and sacrifice one piece to the cause.

And I suspected a couple of you would want to watch, so I filmed it! What do you think, would you have done it? I must admit I sort of love it!

I mean it felt unspeakably transgressive, and I’m still not sure my third grade teacher isn’t going to materialize out of the ether behind me and scold me for wasting paper. But oh sometimes there’s something delightful in destruction (at least when we’re talking about destroying something you made yourself out of a piece of paper and some scraps of yarn).
