There are a lot of packages to go out this month, so I dragooned some dear friends into an afternoon of envelope stuffing, built a tower of laundry hampers (no really, this whole business runs out of a dozen laundry hampers, it’s by far the easiest way to store/sort/lug/corral everything) and everything is just about ready to go in the mail!

The plan is to officially close this month’s Notable Nonsense signups at the end of the day Tuesday, grab the address list first thing Wednesday morning, spend all day Wednesday printing labels, and hand these over to the postman Thursday and Friday (when it’s this many, sometimes it takes two trips).

This month’s package is all the fancy laces for the lace up slippers (quick reminder, Notable Nonsense and Rampant Nonsense folks have that pattern for free over on this post). I’ll come back and do one more reminder and post the Community Supported Memberships tomorrow morning (just because there’s always someone who is sad they missed the closing date).

So far, we have one single, solitary donation to the Community Supported Memberships for July and August. I always match whatever has been donated (and always cover at least two memberships, even if no one has contributed that month). But I also like to occasionally remind folks that this is a joint effort, so if you want to chip in a couple of bucks so folks who don’t have room in the budget for a little treat right now can get something happy in the mail, this is the way to do it!
