Short Attention Span
The painters are still banging. Now please don't get me wrong, they're doing a good job, and they're doing a job I don't want to do. I'm very glad that they're here and scampering over the roof. But oh my poor pulverized brains is it loud. It has rather dramatically cropped my already short attention span. But in a totally uncharacteristic move, I've taken the crazy and done something with it (other than whine). So eventually the banging stopped and the painters went home (get your mind out of the gutter). A blessed hush descended, and the idea of doing something that required more than 45 seconds of sustained attention seemed less daunting. This wee tiny cuff was the result. Look, Knitting!
See, look at that. A post with actual knitting content. You thought I'd strayed from the true path and it was going to be all exams/kittens/books around here, didn't you? I'm not saying your concerns were unjustified, but I can at least put your mind to rest for the moment. I have made many many tiny sock stitches.
