Sorry for the sparse posting. I'm here and fine, just a wee bit swamped. All the projects for the book are re-blocked, tagged (there is a chart...a giant organizational chart...it's kind of cool), oh so carefully laid out, and tucked safely in a box ready for the big day. I'm also assembling a wee box of props and goodies to be sure to bring with me (Alphonse and his fellow lodgers are coming along of course). You remember the (ever so slightly crazy making) reign of painterly doom. They did lovely work, but while they were here, I just could not pay attention to one thing for more than an hour or so at a time. It just wasn't happening. So in celebration of a short attention span, I made this set of mitts. At least that's the excuse I'm using for the otherwise pitiful amount of stuff I got done while they were here. It is 58 degrees in my dining room (the warmest room in the house). I think it's time to break out the woolies. Handy that the new mitts are all done and ready to wear. They'll be out tomorrow.
