I told you I wasn’t ready to be done with these! And, given my firm conviction that accessories are more fun in sets, it should surprise absolutely no one that there are now mitts to match the hat. Though even I admit to being surprised by just how very much I adore them (it’s the thumb increases, they’re just so pretty I can hardly stand it).

And of course I had to do them with both a solid color option and a contrast color option. Because once you see how nifty the contrast color option is, I don’t see how you could do anything else.

Or, patrons at the Rampant Nonsense level get the pattern included as part of their membership (oh and they get the extra patreon only bonus version of the hat too…you can catch a glimpse of that in the picture below, it’s the one with the rolled brim).

Now all I have to do is convince myself that I’ve had enough fun with these and that I don’t need to do anything else with them. We’ll see how well that works. I make no promises!

P.S. READ THIS IF YOU ALREADY HAVE THE HAT AND NOW WANT THE MITTS Now that the mitts are out, the hat and mitts are only available as a set. But I wanted to be sure folks who already had the hat and now want the mitts don’t have to buy the hat pattern all over again! So I set up a code that will let folks who already have the hat pattern deduct the full price of the hat pattern from the cost of the set. If you already have the hat pattern, you should have gotten an update yesterday with that code in it (look on page two, it’s there in the Pattern Notes section all nice and bold and italicized and easy to find).  You can use that when you buy the set and that way you won’t end up paying for the hat twice!
