So I meant to show you the hat. And I will. Because it's lovely and that's sort of what I do. But since Miss Fizzy decided to come do a spot inspection while I was taking a photo, I thought I'd show you that instead. I suspect you don't mind at all. Even if she's not precisely in focus. She's cute enough to pull off blurry pretty darn well!

You know those yarns where you're like 'oh, what a gorgeous color' and then your brain goes 'yeah, but wait, what the heck color even is that?' Because there are actually like seven different colors in there at least and it's just impossible to pin them down? Yeah...those are sort of secretly the best colors. ⁠ And yeah, this is one of them. This...this is incredibly not cute at this stage. But I've seen where it's headed next. And, when it gets there, it becomes absolutely astonishingly cute. We need some sort of way to quantify the transformation from 'huh, those sure are stitches aren't they' to 'oh my god that's so cute I could die.' Because this one is going on a pretty substantial journey.
