So a year or so ago I realized I had a bunch of sensory issues with...um...pants. What can I say, my brain is weird, I have sensory issues with lots of things. Train your eye
It's become clear that some of y'all can't tell the difference between twisted and untwisted stitches (which is fine, no one is born knowing that, we all have to learn it somewhere!). More than one
Could I stop myself with just one beaded version? No. No I could not. Is even one single solitary one of you surprised? I assume the answer here is also a resounding no. And yes, there will be a pattern. Likely not till closer to the end of summer though, because early summer patterns never get the attention they deserve, and it would be a shame for something so cute not to get as much attention as possible!
Align
I have it on good authority that the stars may align here shortly and I might be able to get pics of these with, you know, feet in them. At which point they will stop being free will instead be for sale like a regular pattern. You know...just in case you wanted to do anything with that information while they were still hanging out there where anyone can just have them.
Magic trick
Either you already know this, or you're going to be mad no one told you sooner. You know how there are a bunch of different directions for left- and right-leaning decreases, and twisted left- and right-leaning decreases, and left- and right-leaning decreases on the wrong side, and twisted left- and right-leaning decreases on the wrong side? Thunk
You know you want it. I know you want it. Everyone wants to grab one of these and go ‘pinch pinch pinch’ and listen to the clasp go ‘thunk thunk thunk.’ Don’t worry, it’s perfectly normal. Everyone feels that way sometimes. If you wish to indulge this base desire, the pattern is called Clasped and you can be thunk thunk thunking away in a day or two. Or you can continue on in noble self restraint and deny yourself the unspeakable satisfaction of a good thunk. I’ll be over here thunking.
