These dozen patterns are my very favorites. They’ll likely stick around for a while (at least until something new comes along and claims one of their spots)!

These patterns share a common theme or technique (in this case, slippers) and will be available for just a few months. Rampant & Notable Nonsense patreon folks get these patterns free!

Gramercy

September 8, 2010|

As I explained once before, I started designing socks mostly through an (oh so fetching) combination of laziness, bossiness, and inability to follow directions.  I kept it up because knitters seem to be disproportionately awesome [...]

Purely Medicinal

September 5, 2010|

After Tuesday's trying experience with the rocks and sea monsters, Socky was a bit out of sorts.  Luckily, there was a facility nearby that had just the cure for his ills. The Ironworks Distillery was, [...]

Stick

September 3, 2010|

I have found the coolest stick in the (admittedly rather long and illustrious) history of sticks.  It is twisty and gnarly and has funny colored bits and spots for critters to hide, which is all [...]

Peril

September 2, 2010|

On Tuesday,  Socky went to the shore. He clambered over rocks, frolicked in tidepools, and generally enjoyed the ocean air. Alas, all was not well.  There are perils in the deep, and Socky was menaced [...]

Looking for an earlier pattern?

I have a lot of patterns! But I also tend to get overwhelmed if I have to deal with them all at once. So I’ve picked 12 of my favorites (the Core Collection) that will usually be available. And every few months, I decide on a theme or a technique and make a handful of related patterns (the Rotating Collection) available for a little while (then they go away again). The other patterns are retired and are not generally available. However, because I know some folks will want them, I make many the retired patterns available for a few weeks every November. If you want me to tell you when they’re back, subscribe to the mailing list or patreon, and I’ll be sure to let you know!
