These dozen patterns are my very favorites. They’ll likely stick around for a while (at least until something new comes along and claims one of their spots)!

These patterns share a common theme or technique (in this case, slippers) and will be available for just a few months. Rampant & Notable Nonsense patreon folks get these patterns free!

Xanthophyll

September 25, 2009|

Xanthophyll socks are live, and the pattern is here! To celebrate their release, the folks at Shalimar Yarns have kindly offered to donate a skein of the lovely Zoe Sock yarn I used to make [...]

The Sun Will Come Out…

September 24, 2009|

Or rather The Boy will come home while the sun has come out. For that unusual confluence of events is really all that is standing in the way of releasing the Xanthophyll socks. They'll be [...]

Colophon

September 21, 2009|

I got overly ambitious and went ahead and released these early! These are simple and fun fingerless mitts designed to use up leftover bits of sock yarn.  The airy pattern makes the most of limited [...]

Scattershot

September 21, 2009|

The last few days have seen lots of knitting and lots of testing but little actual tangible progress.  The Slalom mitts are finished, the pattern is tested, and I will take pictures and release the [...]

Looking for an earlier pattern?

I have a lot of patterns! But I also tend to get overwhelmed if I have to deal with them all at once. So I’ve picked 12 of my favorites (the Core Collection) that will usually be available. And every few months, I decide on a theme or a technique and make a handful of related patterns (the Rotating Collection) available for a little while (then they go away again). The other patterns are retired and are not generally available. However, because I know some folks will want them, I make many the retired patterns available for a few weeks every November. If you want me to tell you when they’re back, subscribe to the mailing list or patreon, and I’ll be sure to let you know!
