Yeah. Yeah fine. I do indeed want something slightly different.⁠ Which means that by the time you see this picture, this yarn will have been yoinked out and even possibly knit back up into the next iteration.⁠ Because what I really want is a little turned hem down there on the bottom, not ribbing. ⁠ Because it will be so lovely, and I want to try it and what the hell is the point of knitting your own things if you don't make them exactly the way you want them!

I...I think I want something slightly different. Not a different yarn, the yarn is just what I want. But a slightly different brim. So now I believe it's traditional to knit another inch or so to make sure I really do want to change it, and only then to rip it out and start over. Which I admit, does seem a bit inefficient. But it's a time honored practice, and who am I to question it. You need to be really really sure before you rip...and the only way to be really sure is to have more information to go [...]

Well. Well then. You may expect that you will be seeing more of this. Quite a bit more. This yarn does exactly what I want yarn to do right now. The way this finishes out at the top is deeply, deeply satisfying.
