Were I a cooler person, I'd have prattled more about these sooner. Alas I am not, so I'm leaving it till far later than I should. Though really, both the bat (Fangs) and the hat (Ensorcellment) take at most an hour or two. So should you be so inclined, you totally could still have quite a number of them to grace your Halloween festivities.
Fetching
Ok that is really rather fetching. The bats are Fangs, the hats are Ensorcellment. And while they were not originally intended to go together, I suspect I won't be the only one to combine them. And, on the off chance that you have one of the patterns and now want the other, you could try turning to the back of the pattern you have, looking down at the bottom of the page for the section labeled 'SUPER SECRET CODE WORDS,' and putting the first of those words in when you get the other pattern. Better or worse?
Is tentacles in pointy hats better or worse than tentacles with potions? I mean like from a safety and security angle. To be frank, they both seem to pose certain risks. Though I have to admire the dedication to hat wearing in creatures that don't, strictly speaking, have heads. It's impressive! Spooky Knits Season
Miss Fizzy would like me to remind you we are now firmly in spooky knits season, and that she has you covered, should you have a black cat you'd like to irritate by attempting to make them wear a hat. Bonus shot of her two years when she was just a few months old and freshly introduced to the indignity of being a cat in a knitter's household, just in case you needed an aching reminder of the inexorable march of time. The hat is called Ensorcellment, though I can't in good conscience recommend inflicting it on unsuspecting critters.
