I've learned something. Five year olds have heads that are more or less the same size as adult humans. At least some five year olds do. Giving all this yarn away has been so much fun. Well, there may possibly have been the occasional teeny tiny twinge when I mail out the oh-so-pretty goodies, but that's only to be expected. I feel a tiny bit bad that it's been so long since I've put out a pattern. The last one was Chamfer in what, February? Now to be fair, the e version of The Knitter's Curiosity Cabinet did go live in March, so it's not like you've not got something to keep your needles busy. Don’t Cross the Streams
The plan is totally working. Just as important, all the math indicates that I'll be able to make the cowl significantly wider (by keeping the mitts tiny...tiny but awfully cute). So as long as I can keep from tangling the various bits and pieces of the project, everything should come together well. And apparently this morning the yarn is purple. I've simply embraced the changing nature of this fabric and I'm no longer fighting it. I swear I'm setting my white balance and I'm in decent light.
