You guys rock. All the extra copies of Silk Road Socks are now spoken for! They're all in the mail headed to their new homes. You guys are awesome. Thank you so much for writing the amazon reviews. I very much appreciate it. And I will keep proding them to get it shifted over to 'in stock' and to get it listed on amazon's international sites. In the meantime, I will also keep knitting on this. As part of the long and winding process of getting Book the Second out in the world, I'm working on getting it up and running on Amazon. Right now the page for it is live, though it lists the book as temporarily out of stock (this is a pernicious lie, I know for a fact the book is sitting in their warehouse and I've got the tracking info to prove it, their computers are just having a hard time believing it's true). Sooooo, wanna visit? I'm having a little book party/trunk show for The Knitter's Curiosity Cabinet this weekend! I'll be at Knots (Knitting on the Square) in Chardon this Saturday from noon till 5pm. I love my job. I do. I fully realize how amazing it is that I get to do this for a living. Lest You Think I’d Stopped
So just because my dining room has been turned into shipping central (with an annex in my living room and another in my car) doesn't mean I've stopped knitting. And Yet More Progress
This is oddly thrilling, it looks all official somehow. Though to be fair, it's become ever so slightly less thrilling as they've sat in my living room for four days. I'm one of those nuts who really wants a tidy house. I like everything put away. I clean off my desk at the end of every day so there's nothing but the computer, its gizmos, and a lamp.
