These dozen patterns are my very favorites. They’ll likely stick around for a while (at least until something new comes along and claims one of their spots)!
These patterns share a common theme or technique (in this case, turned hems) and will be available for just a few months. Rampant & Notable Nonsense patreon folks get these patterns free!
Second wire
Next step, do pretty much the exact same thing up top. This really is exactly the same process as at the bottom, so I'll just sort of vaguely gesture at the previous post and assume [...]
First wire
So, to block a cowl, I start by threading my blocking wire through the bottom of the cowl. I pick a landmark in the stitch pattern and bring my wire through that spot, all the [...]
The before part of the before and after
One of the things I'm trying to show you here is how blocking changes fabric, so let's start out by really looking at the fabric fresh off the needles. This is how it looks flat. [...]
But first, a brief digression…
I thought we were going to dive in to blocking the cowl. But enough people ask what stuff you need for blocking that I wanted to talk about that first. The answer, as with so [...]
Looking for an earlier pattern?
I have a lot of patterns! But I also tend to get overwhelmed if I have to deal with them all at once. So I’ve picked 12 of my favorites (the Core Collection) that will usually be available. And every few months, I decide on a theme or a technique and make a handful of related patterns (the Rotating Collection) available for a little while (then they go away again). The other patterns are retired and are not generally available. However, because I know some folks will want them, I make many the retired patterns available for a few weeks every November. If you want me to tell you when they’re back, subscribe to the mailing list or patreon, and I’ll be sure to let you know!
