Oh, oh this fabric is doing a THING. A nifty, textured, wavy, in and out, super smushy THING. Now, there's always a little bit of a risk with a fabric like this that won't lay down totally flat, even after blocking. Some people are really really really bugged by it. And I fully agree that there are places where it's not the best choice! But every now and then, it turns out to be basically perfect. I've been showing off the sparkly little needlebook over on instagram (you can see it here and here), and I wanted to run through a little supply list before the pattern comes out later this week! This is actually quite a bit bigger than it was when last you saw it (and bigger than it was when I took this picture). Not as much as it would have been had I done something scandalous like knit on it consistently you understand (my primary knitting chair suffered an unfortunate structural collapse and it's cutting in to my knitting time). But bigger nonetheless. I remain enamored. This is a weirdly fun way to draw on your knitting. I suspect you'll be seeing more of it.
