Leafy
So the thing about brioche leaves is that they can be made in an awful lot of shapes. I mean the whole structure of the stitch just sort of lends itself to leafy shapes. Which means we may find ourselves with rather a lot of different options. Please reassure me that no one will find this distressing...

Oh. Oh dear. Oh dear I suspected there might be trouble. I hope the lighthouse keeper is ok...
Not at all convincing
So you, who are doubtless a paragon of good taste, probably like the cork versions better. I, however, find myself increasingly susceptible to the charms of the absurdly sparkly. I'd pretend to be sorry, but I wouldn't be at all convincing about it. And I suspect at least a few of you are with me on team sparkle. What do you say, does one or the other grab you more?
Versions
Right, so I told you yesterday there were three versions of this. For I am not known for my restraint. You've got the original, which is sort of secretly my favorite because it has big 'shiny new folder at the start of the school year' vibes and I am just super susceptible to new school supply magic. Then there's one with a super deep pocket to keep stuff like stitch markers in. And then there's a great big one for things like DPNs or interchangeable tips or hooks or whatever else your clever little soul desires. And then of course [...]
Binding
Can I promise that, if you make a stack of these, you will always know where your scissors (and needles, and stitch markers, and cable needles, and tape measure) are? I mean no, I can't in good conscience do that. I try not to lie to you. But I do think it will improve your odds! And at least if they're in one of these, then if your tools do go missing, you'll know they're off having an adventure together and no one will be lonely. I kind of love these. Clearly
So what it needed was a knitted page, right? I mean clearly that's right! Which do you like best? The pattern for these should be out in a day or two! Do the usual thing if you want to hear when it arrives!
Significantly less so
Knitting is a venerable and practical craft that can make objects that are both beautiful and useful. At least until I come along and have my way with it. At which point it becomes significantly less respectable.
Scandalized
See, I knew I should have faith in all of you. Or at least I should trust that you all also exist in bodies and aren't easily scandalized! Oh and I really did mean it when I said I'm making a stack of these. Little Skein Anne might have sent me a whole box of some absolutely delicious linen and silk yarn and I might be planning to turn most of it into...well...into care and comfort and compassion. Because that's a pretty neat thing to do with yarn if you ask me. Plus bonus points for how brioche looks nifty [...]
